Challenge
Our team tries to help the local community from time to time. This is how we got to the Dom Autysty Foundation.
The Dom Autysty Foundation was established on the initiative of a group of parents who want to secure the future of their autistic children after completing their education and, above all, after the death of their parents. The Foundation carries out many initiatives to raise funds for the implementation of its main goal: building an institution for those under its care.
Thanks to the support of the Media Rodzina Publishing House, “Trupów hurtowo trzech” was published – a collection of short stories by leading authors of Polish crime literature. We undertook to promote the book, the income from the sale of which will be allocated to the construction of the Autysty House in Poznań.



We decided to approach the topic of book promotion in a non-standard way. We chose one of the ten crime stories contained in it, and then created an interactive chat story based on it. We used Progressive Web App – an innovative type of web application that is gaining more and more popularity.
Why PWA? PWA gives us many benefits of native Android applications without the disadvantages of these applications. PWA is a website that the user can save on the screen of his smartphone (just like an application), but does not have to use the Google Play store. Creating a PWA website is much faster than creating a native Android application. This application can work offline and send push notifications. So it has everything we needed!
The chat story user became the main character and influenced the development of the plot. We presented him with moral dilemmas, the consequences of which he had to face after reaching the last message.





Outcomes of our
efforts
The regional press (Gazeta Wyborcza in Poznań, Głos Wielkopolski) wrote about us, we found ourselves on the following portals: Nowy Marketing, Wykop, Fakt24, Wirtualna Polska, Gazeta. Our campaign was shared on social media channels by Bartłomiej Topa, Paweł Tkaczyk, youtubers, bloggers and dozens of people with a big heart, who were not indifferent to the fate of the children under the care of the Dom Autysty Foundation.
The project was included in the Final of the Power of Content Marketing Awards 2018 competition and was awarded in the Golden Arrow 2018 contest.
