Find out how we do user research

We research users with a focus on understanding their behavior, needs and motivations through observation techniques, task analysis, and other feedback methodologies.

We define the target group of the product to research the relevant users
We conduct interviews with users, getting to know their behavior, routines, motivations – all aspects determining the shape of the process in the software
We perform a cluster analysis in order to group the obtained data and create a complete picture of the users’ needs and motivations
We create a report with conclusions and recommendations

… when to do user research?
  • when the target audience of the product is not defined
  • when the user’s needs and main problems are unknown
  • in order to find out the user’s opinion on the proposed solution / available solutions
  • when the software flow is to be based on a process containing real user behaviors and activities

… for whom
for companies
who are starting work on new software for which the needs of the target group are unknown (startups, companies implementing a new product).

For companies
who are wishing to improve sales results / adjust their product to the user’s needs.

For companies
who are wishing to get to know the target user better and understand the strengths and weaknesses of an existing product

… how long?

It depends on many factors: the company’s current knowledge about the target user, the type of activities included in the research process, the number of users participating in the research. The length of user testing may take approximately 2-8 weeks.

… which tools we use?
In-depth research (IDI)
The most effective method of collecting information from users. It allows us to gain your understanding and perspective.
Usability studies
A method that allows us to find out what emotions and reactions our digital product evokes among users. A very effective solution if you want to collect feedback.
Ethnographic research
A research method to help us better understand our target audience by observing users in their natural environment.
Shadowing
A method by which we solely observe user behavior.
Focus groups
A focus group interview to gather information through a targeted discussion with users.
Quantitative research
Methods based on gaining knowledge about the number of users behaving in a certain way.
Diaries
Their purpose is to check how users use the product in a natural environment.
